Biographical Sketch:- Tuck Cheong TANG is a senior lecturer at the Economics Department, Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya joined February 17, 2014. He teaches both in the undergraduate and postgraduate of economics related courses. His current academic profile is documented and available at http://umexpert.um.edu.my/tangtuckcheong. Prior to this, he first served the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia as tutor in July 2001, and surrendered his senior lecturer post at February 14, 2014. He taught several undergraduate courses. He received his PhD degree in Economics from Monash University, Australia (supervised by Dietrich Karl Fausten) in 2012 which accompanied by a Mollie Holman Doctoral Medal. He recorded an impressive volume of articles published in refereed journals to his credit, and also presented his research findings in many conferences around the world. The field of his research is open economy macroeconomics including international trade related topics such as imports demand function, sustainability of balance of payments component, and so on. He involves actively in professional services such as the editorial advisory board of Labuan Bulletin of International Business and Finance, and International Journal of Management Studies. He is regularly invited as referee for numerous internationally recognized journals.
